The Role of the Manager within the Functional Areas of Business Organizations have many areas within the operation that play a major role with it’s overall purpose. Without these functions working symbiotically, the business would most likely not be able to operate at it’s fullest potential for very long, if at all. Each function is important and offers a very specific objective to ensure the organization’s success but what is more important than the function, is the person behind the operation of the function; that of the manager. Management

The management function organizes and supervises various levels of the business, from the client facing side, all the way up to Operations and Supply Chain. Ultimately, managers ensure that the organization’s goals are met when employees are effective and efficient with their specific tasks. A strong management team helps ensure the business needs are met daily, quarterly and yearly. Human Resources

The role of Human Resources is to recruit, hire and train new employees, while continuing to provide training and development to current employees. Other functions of Human Resources include payroll, benefits, working conditions, remediation and dismissal. It is Human Resources role to represent the business in such a way that it will attract the type of candidates they are interested in hiring.
